The tenement houses were built in the years 1895-98, the author of the design is Artur Otton Spitzbarth, a Warsaw architect and designer of tenement houses. A place with history that hosted many distinguished figures who contributed to Polish culture and statehood. In the 1930s, the Foksal 13 tenement house became the property of the famous entrepreneur and king of chocolate - Jan Wedel, who rebuilt it and equipped it with numerous modern amenities, including: the first panoramic elevator in Warsaw. In 2016, this tenement house and Foksal 15 were purchased by Ghalamco, thanks to which they underwent careful revitalization. Today, both tenement houses are a showcase of Warsaw.
